Easter

We were lucky to spend the Easter weekend with this crew. We weren't sure if the babies would be joining us for the holiday weekend, but they decided to stay in a bit longer. McCrae loved searching for eggs...almost as much as he enjoyed jumping on the tramp

When he discovered there was candy in the eggs, he seemed a bit more interested.

Easter morning, we found bunny tracks! It was pretty exciting. After sorting through Easter baskets we had the Castleton family, Craig and Jerrie, and Conner's cousins, Summer and Jake, and their daughter over for breakfast. We had Resurrection rolls, eggs and sausage. It was delicious. Amy told us what each part of the roll represented. The mallow represented Christ's body, the butter-the oils, the cinnamon-the spices, and the roll-the tomb. Once we baked the roll, the mallow disappeared representing Christ's resurrection. It was a bit of a Primary lesson, but fun all the same. How lucky we are to know of the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. I have never felt so fortunate to know that I have a forever family.
