McCrae is growing and learning so fast. He is starting to talk more and more. Our favorite phrase of his is "I don't know!" If you ask him where someone or something is he responds, "Iyyyyaknow" in the cutest high voice you've ever heard. He also knows "kuh kuh" meaning something that needs to go in the garbage. He got some new bear slippers so he now knows "bear" and "slippers." He loves to put on "shoes" eat "cheese" drink "juice" and says "hi" and "bye" to everyone we meet. Julianne taught him how to say please in sign language (rub your chest). So, now he says please all the time, over and over grabbing his chest-he thinks he can get anything just because he's being polite. Now that the weather is finally turning a bit colder, McCrae says "brrrr" when we walk outside or even when we're just putting on a coat to go somewhere.

McCrae is getting much better at giving kisses and even puckers up voluntarily sometimes which just makes my day! He says, "nigh, nigh" to the stuffed animals and we give them kisses and put them to bed as part of his bedtime routine. He goes to bed around nine and sleeps 10-11 hours. Its fabulous.
McCrae LOVES to vacuum. He makes it impossible to make nice, straight vacuum lines because he's always trying to push, touch, or climb on the vacuum. He begs to go outside all the time. We have bundled up quite a few to go swing at the park.
McCrae has had an ear infection since June that won't clear so our Doctor suggested seeing an ENT to talk about the possibility of placing tubes in his ears. He doesn't complain a lot but apparently if the fluid doesn't resolve, it can affect his speech. We'll see what they have to say!
His personality is really developing and he is rather opinionated. He tries to tell me what he wants but when I don't understand what he is saying, he gets really frustrated. He is happy most of the time unless I have him in the carseat too long. He refuses to sit in the cart at the grocery store. He prefers wandering down the aisles and pulling everything off the shelf.
Although he keeps me busy, I really actually find myself enjoying wiping handprints off of the refrigerator, the dishwasher, the cupboards, the sliding glass door and anything else he can reach. I enjoy hearing how beautiful my baby is EVERY time I go to the store (often multiple times in a day-they just can't get over those "big blue eyes", or "blue set of peepers" one man said). I love finding rocks piled up on the steps, or in the watering can, or up the rain gutter. I love chasing his little naked bum around the house because he doesn't want to put on a diaper. I love making funny faces with him in the mirror after every bath. He really has changed our lives forever. Its a lot of work being a mother, but I am learning a lot about myself and trying to embrace this chaos called motherhood.
Mr. Independant!
"Na na!" (Amen)
Daddy caught a grasshopper!
He loves his cousin, Baby Paityn...he wouldn't let go of her announcement when we got it in the mail.
Visiting Papa at work.
Heavenly Father has blessed us tremendously. I know that he is watching over us and helping us become the parents He knows we can become. I have faith that He can help me through anything-even this...
