McCrae's preschool held a Thanksgiving feast and, this year, his class represented the Native Americans. It was pretty cute. They made fringed shirts, noodle necklaces, and headdresses.
We were so fortunate to have our good friends, the Nortons, come for Thanksgiving. They moved to New York a few months ago and came down for the weekend to celebrate with us. Kylee and I sure felt the pressure as we were responsible for cooking our very first Thanksgiving feast...but, I think we were all surprised at how well it all turned out. Of course, I did have my Mom on FaceTime the entire time I stuffed the turkey!Conner's first time carving the bird.
We had a great rest of the weekend as well. We celebrated Gemma's birthday at the movies. We loved the show, Moana, and haven't stopped singing the songs since we left the theatre.
Saturday, we sent the Nortons into Philadelphia and they had a wonderful time. We really do live in such a neat area. I hope that while we live here, we are able to experience much of what the East Coast has to offer.
We are feeling extremely grateful for this past year. For all that could have gone WRONG with the move, the job change, and the twins, everything has seemed to go RIGHT. We know how blessed we are and are counting those blessings every day. Surprisingly, out here on our own, I've never been so grateful.
