10 months

McCrae is now 10 months old. He loves to give kisses (with an open mouth). His hair is getting longer and blonder and is starting to curl!
He just cut his 8th tooth and likes to eat EVERYHTING! He always poops after breakfast...as you can see here:
He loves playing with any ball he can find. He loves to roll the ball back and forth with anyone that will play with him.
He stands all the time now and, most recently, learned to wave and say "Hiiiii!"

9 months

Each month McCrae seems to make great strides-he is so advanced! He now sits up rather well and can even army crawl. On May 8th, we bribed him with some food and he got up on his hands and knees and truly crawled for the first time. He now knows his name and turns his head when you call for him. He LOVES to swing and could stay in there for hours.

Conner leaned in for a kiss and McCrae gave him some "noggin'" instead!
He loves to bathe and was thoroughly enjoying his bath in the sink. This would be his last bath in the sink since he can now stand and I thought he might topple right over the edge.
On May 16th I found him standing up in his crib when I walked into his room that morning. It was quite the surprise! He always has different shades of bruising on his forehead from bonking into things and falling over...but he is still smiling!

Easter

Holidays seem a bit better with a baby around. Easter was no exception. McCrae was extremely spoiled by the Easter bunny...
We had a delicious breakfast, including "Resurrection Rolls"

We ate at Conner's parents' house then headed to my mom and dad's for a bug Easter egg hunt.
My dad just happen to snap this cute family picture.

I have decided that Easter is one of my very favorite holidays...The weather is starting to get warmer, I find myself enjoying every blossoming tree, and the earth just seems anew. I am so thankful to my Savior for his sacrifice. What a perfect time of year to celebrate his resurrection. Because of Him, we can all start anew through repentance and faith in Him. I am so thankful for my beautiful new family and thank Heavenly Father every day for the blessing they are in my life.

8 months

I think every post from here on out will start with, "I can't believe how big McCrae is getting!" He really is growing so fast and learning so quickly. He likes to click-clack his tongue and sounds like he's speaking some kind of African language. He thinks he is pretty funny. He has a mouth FULL of teeth. Well, not really but they're coming in quick. He just cut his 5th tooth!
He has quite the cow lick.

We love to read to him, except all he wants to do is eat the pages.
On April 10th (a date that will live in infamy) I walked into his room in the morning and he was sitting up! I don't know how he did it and I was so sad I missed it. He was just sitting there like, "Good morning mom-what took you so long? I've been up forever!" It was so cute. As the weeks pass, he just keeps getting better and better!
