Family Pictures

My dad took some family pictures for us this Fall. We love the way they turned out, but most of all, we love having McCrae in the picture with us. Our little family has grown immensely by adding one little guy to the mix. We love spending time together, riding our bikes, going to the park, and teaching McCrae new things. We took these pictures near Draper Park. There is a set of railroad tracks that runs along the trail that we enjoy as a family...not to get too sentimental, it is a popular spot for pretty much everyone that lives in Draper. Even still, its special to us and we hope that we continue to make many more lasting memories there.
A little cliche, but we were on the tracks after all!
Those eyes continue to amaze me! Lucky boy.
My very favorite picture.

Packsize Caribbean Cruise

We had an incredible opportunity to go on a week-long cruise with Conner's employer, Packsize. We were excited to go, but leaving McCrae was rough. I saw his packed bag and little bear slippers and burst into tears! But once we were on the ship, we were ready for some sunny, Caribbean weather!
We met a lot of people from all over the country who work on the sales team at Packsize. Conner had classes for the first few days, so I got to know the wives while lying in the sun on the ship deck. Everyone was very nice. We had a couple "dress-up" dinners, so we brought our Sunday best!
This portrait was outside our room. It looks JUST like my mom in her 20's.
Our first stop- Puerto Rico. We were lucky enough to have our very own tour guide. Kylee and Eddie have lived in Puerto Rico for about 9 months so she was able to take us around. It was great to see her!

This was an old fort called El Morro. It had incredible views of the ocean!
We loved Skyping with McCrae when we had the chance.
Second stop- Antigua. This is called Devil's Bridge. It is a limestone bridge carved out entirely by ocean waves.
Third stop- St. Thomas. This was our favorite port for sure. We went to a beach called Magen's Bay. National Geographic rated this beach as one of their top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world!

Lastly, we stopped in Nassau. We spent the day at Atlantis Aquaventure. This water park was unreal! This is a slide called "Leap of Faith"-it drops you vertically into a shark tank. It was awesome!
We had lots of fun on the trip but after about 5 days away from McCrae we were itching to get home...we made the most out of out free vacation but literally raced home from the airport to these welcome home kisses. We are so lucky that my mom was willing to help us out so we could go. It was sure nice to know that McCrae was in good hands.
