18 months

McCrae seems to be growing up so fast. I feel like the first year was hard, learning to adjust to the addition of a child, learning how to become a mother, and finding a new pace in life. But the last few months have just flown by. He is such a joy in our lives. He is outgoing and curious and gets excited about everything. He talks so much and is learning new words every day. There have been multiple times that I have taught him a word just one time, and he'll remember it days later when we come back to it in a book, or see it on the street. One day Conner caught a grasshopper for McCrae. He was beyond excited.
Conner went on a business trip for 11 days and was jealous of the one-on-one time I had with McCrae...so they had a little male bonding time.
This wasn't the first time...and I'm sure it won't be the last.
His poor head. He hit this exact spot multiple times in one week. We are pretty sure it has made a permanent dent. Its tough when you're still a little wobbly on your feet!
His favorite time of the day.
He still fights me about brushing his teeth, so we are trying to be creative.
But when you're sneaking carmel popcorn, brushing teeth is a must!
He mastered this slide at 16 months...up and down all by himself!
We didn't get to play in the snow much this year due to such a mild winter. But when we did, he thought it was pretty fun!

 First snowman.
This is really what our winter consisted of mostly...

We count our blessings every day and know that McCrae is the greatest blessing of all. We love watching him grow and only hope that we will be able to hep him become a kind and loving young boy.
