Baby Paityn was born July 8th. We couldn't wait to see her, and we were headed to Newport the next week, so McCrae and I hopped on a PLANE to St. George so that we could meet her before we left for California. It was wonderful and McCrae loved every minute (all 55 of them). Haha.
Oh she was so precious. McCrae loved her...loved to poke her eyes anyway. Julianne and Garrett had recently moved near a golf course and we were able to go and feed the ducks that live by the pond.
And feed their landlord's chickens too!
We were staying at Karla's and forgot to bring jammies over to Julianne's one night. So we had McCrae wear some of Paityn's future jammies. We couldn't resist adding a bow. He's too pretty!
It was a tearful goodbye, but we headed out Sunday afternoon. Those first few days can be pretty overwhelming and I hope between my mom and me, we were able to help out a bit. Julianne is doing so great and the baby is gaining weight already! Good luck to the first-time parents! We are so happy for them.
