Grandpa Egbert turned 83 on April 1st. It was a great celebration at the Old Spaghetti Factory. He says the greatest thing that has been invented in the past 83 years is electricity and running water. I can't even imagine! We asked him to share some stories from his youth; He told us a story about how he chased a chicken down a well and his uncle had to ride the bucket to the bottom to fetch it out of the water. I guess you could say Grandpa was too chicken to do it himself! Happy Birthday Grandpa.
