Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma, the girls had the most beautiful Christmas dresses. They wore them all month long!
We looked forward to having Christmas on our own this year. Although we missed our family parties, we truly enjoyed spending the holiday with our little family. And we are SO fortunate to have the Castleton family so close. We had a little Christmas party on Christmas Eve and went over again in the morning for brunch and a gift exchange. It was perfect.
The Christmas Eve Nativity: Samuel, and his side-kick, prophesying of the coming of Christ. When McCrae was asked to be a shepherd or a wise man, he just kept saying, "No, I'm a T-Rex!"
The narrator.
The angel announcing the birth of the Savior.
Santa dropped a bag of presents at the front door with REAL reindeer bells.
Christmas morning.
McCrae loved his new tent, and he loved helping the girls unwrap their presents as well.
My favorite picture of the entire holiday season...the tail was a PERFECT gift for this crazy dinosaur of ours.
He NEVER forgot about the piggy he saw at Ikea. Glad Santa came through in the end.
Just chillin' in his new tent watching his new show. Lucky boy.
And lucky us. Conner and I count our blessings every day. So much has happened this past year and everything has seemed to go so smoothly. Besides being sleep deprived, we really don't have much to complain about. Our children are healthy, Conner's job is going well, I get to stay home with the kids each day, we are starting to become more involved in the ward, we are finding new friends, Conner is almost finished with his MBA, and we still love each other amidst the daily chaos. Heavenly Father is looking out for us and we can feel it. We are so grateful that a Savior was born to save us all and allow us the opportunity to be an eternal family. There is no greater blessing.
