My favorite day of the year...The Fourth of July! My mom received this picture text from Marissa the morning of the Fourth-it was sent by a member of the church down in Eagle pass where Marissa is serving. We all loved it! (And we may have all cried together too!)
We all spent hours preparing yummy treats for the pool party.
Firecracker cookies made with pop rocks-they're like a firecracker in your mouth!
Julianne made this beautiful fruit pie.
Then we hit the pool! Aunt Holli's family came as always and we spent the day barbecuing and lounging in the sun. Of course we had our patriotic CD's playing in the background.
That night, my dad took us out to the Pizza Factory prior to going to the Stadium of Fire to see Kelly Clarkson perform.
We love going to the Stadium of Fire. It makes me so proud to be an American!
Circ de Soleil performed. It was unreal.
Then Carly Rae Jepson.
And then Kelly!
We had so much fun. I may have stayed seated a little more than in previous years due to the extra weight around my mid-section but we had tons of fun!
