Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving 2011 was spent with the Egberts. Of course, we had to go skiing...its tradition! We had a big group this year so it was extra special. Since Cam and Nic moved back to Utah, its a little easier to get together with them. My dad flew in Jon and Jenny so they were able to join us for turkey dinner too.
Grandma Egbert, Grammy, and Grammy GG (Great Grammy) with the yummy pies. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the magnificent feast...my mom makes THE BEST turkey. We had all the fixins-yams, potatoes and gravy, cranberry, the works.

After dinner, Nic was kind enough to take Conner to his office and check out his chipped tooth. Conner was working out and hit his chin with the bar. His teeth clenched together and he chipped off part of his K9. Nic smoothed it out for him and made him a splint to wear at night so that the crack that was left up the middle of the tooth won't get any worse.

This Thanksgiving was great. I always love a reason to celebrate the many things I am thankful for. I am so thankful for my family. Both of our families play such an important role in our lives. I am thankful to have the gospel in my life and I know that because Conner and I are married in the temple, we will be able to be together forever with our family. I am thankful for good health. I love that I can walk and run and do all the things I like to do. I am so happy to be married to Conner. I love him and am thankful for his love and support to me. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for all that he blesses me with each and every day.
