Book Club

Our second book club: To Kill a Mockingbird. Once again, we themed dinner. It was a southern meal including a plantation salad, chili and fritos, deviled eggs, corn bread, fruit, and apple cobbler. It was fabulous and the discussion was even better. I always leave book club feeling so uplifted....about the book, yes. But also about life. It is so refreshing to see everyone's viewpoints and feelings about subjects you aren't able to discuss on a regular basis.

Chelsea (didn't even read the book but still had plenty to contribute-we were so glad she came!) Lisa, Marielle, Whitney (Kylee's friend-new to our book club but she was great and her chili was even better), Kylee and Mallory. We missed a few friends and hope they can come next time.
