4th of July

This 4th of July was fantastic. With the holiday being on a Sunday, we were able to celebrate the entire weekend. Jon and Jenny came into town on Friday and that night we went to dinner and to the movie Toy Story 3. It was great. The next morning we went to the annual Granite parade. Marissa and I went to support Rylee riding her patriotic bike through the street. She was so cute. We headed back to my parents for a day of swimming and roasting hot dogs in the fire pit. We had Grandpa, Grandma, Grammy and lots of our favorite cousins over to celebrate. And, of course, we had to paint our toes in honor of the special day.
That night, my parents took us to Stadium of Fire. Our seats were great. The show included multiple musical performances, the largest court of honor to ever happen, our favorite event of the night- Carrie Underwood, and an incredible fireworks show!

A proud Eagle Scout...he was able to be part of the largest Eagle's nest in the world!
And finally the beautiful and talented Carrie Underwood. I have always been a big fan, but we were all blown away with her talent...AND her amazing legs!
Jen weaseled her way up through a crowd of crazy fans to find me. We belted out every song!
The grand finale...
Sunday was a great day to have Fast and Testimony meeting. Most everyone talked about how proud they were to be an American. We truly are so blessed. We were able to light fireworks with both the Nielsens and the Egberts that evening. The holiday continued into Monday when we went to the Bees game. It was the perfect weekend to celebrate.

That is hilarious that you were working with our nurse! She was so sweet to Bingham to let him help out! And Hello Carrie your legs are sickening! I love the 4th!
