I read Twilight last summer...to be honest, I wasn't a fan. Part of me wanted to love it so that I could relate to all of my Vampire-loving friends. For months, conversations always seemed to turn to Edward and his mysterious yet captivating persona. But after a while I decided that it was okay to be different. I'm an adult...I can have an opinion! Months later it was still haunting me. I still felt left out. I decided to give the movie a try, in hopes that it may shed light on my negative feelings and open me up to the sequel. What an awful idea. It could have been the worst movie I have ever seen. So I give up. I don't know why you all think it is so great. Please comment. I would love to hear your pitiful arguments.

Here here! I am totally with you. That movie was absolutely ridiculous! I couldn't believe how the music was placed it didn't fit with what was happening. I have finally found a friend I can relate with. All of my friends keep having parties and I just can't go, cause I pretty much want to slap them.
People get WAY too obsessed with everything and anything especially the Twilight stuff. Personally I loved it, but the way people can't stop talking and obsessing about it makes me want to throw myself off a bridge.The movie was ok. Not fanastic. But the next movie should be at least entertaining. I am sorry you don't like it. You should read First Princess of Wales. Absolutely AMAZING!! It's my new favorite book. Love ya girl! Let's meet up when things calm down. And SO GLAD I ran into you the other day

I'm sorry if you are referring to all the twilight posts on my blog or all the blogs in the blogosphere, I think what I love about it is the storyline (in the movie) I do find edward/Rob VERY dreamy and I do love the movie but I do have to admit its not that great a movie, it wasn't done very well, could've been a lot better, but I do think that the 2nd one will be better. I just love the story thus, I love the movie.
I have no argument. I am an English literature major for crying out loud, yet I still found the books quite enjoyable.
Liking Twilight in my field is basically asking to be ridiculed and ostracized. But just like you Mar, and I can't deny what I believe to be true.
And I truly did enjoy the books.
